Mirror Visions Ensemble performs their beloved program Journeys at the Untermyer Gardens on September 16, 5:00 p.m.
MVE returns to Merkin Hall with a new program The Arithmetic of Alternation. The first half of the night will feature premieres by recent winners of MVE’s Young Composers Competition (Alex Burtzos, Griffin Candey, Cheng Jin Koh, and Lisa Neher), as well as works by B.E. Boykin, Randall Eng, and John Glover. The evening will conclude with a performance of Tom Cipullo’s song cycle Secrets, set to poetry by Linda Pastan.

The poetry of Baudelaire, Joyce and Metastasio is featured, as well as the correspondence of Paul Bourget, Isabella Stewart Gardner and Edna St. Vincent Millay.
